Welcome to my little piece of the internet. I never thought I would be writing about my journey to becoming a homemaker, but here we are. 11 years ago I began to yearn for a simple life with less stress. I decided that I needed to leave the career world and hustle culture and exchange it for slow living and enjoy the treasures that God had ordained for me. I began to internalize the blessing of family and making a home.

Homemaking is more than cooking and caring for the home. Homemaking transforms you and those in your home. It’s about how people feel when they cross your threshold. My desire is to have a home that those who enter it can feel the love of Christ. I want my home to be a mini church. Home should restore the soul and we start by finding delight in homemaking.
